Maccess features

Everything you can do from your iPhone

Maccess is an iPhone app that lets you control your Mac. Pair once with free Maccess Helper on your Mac, then use a precision touchpad, keyboard, system controls, files, screen mirroring, and Mackie AI — on the same Wi-Fi or from anywhere with Pro Online Access.

What is Maccess?

Maccess connects your iPhone to your Mac through Maccess Helper, a free menu bar app on macOS 15.6 or newer. After pairing with a QR code or passcode, you can move the cursor, type, launch apps, manage files, and run AI-assisted tasks without sitting at the keyboard. Local sessions stay on your network; Pro Online Access uses your signed-in account so only your trusted devices connect.

Your Macs, anywhere

Pair your Macs over Wi-Fi in seconds, then reach any of them from anywhere — not just at home.

Precision touchpad

Move, click, scroll, and right-click on your Mac with natural iPhone gestures, tuned the way you like them.

Search, launch, switch

Search your Mac, open any app, switch between windows, and quit what you're done with — all from one place.

Live Mirroring

See your Mac's screen on your iPhone and take control of it — tap, scroll, and type on it, in portrait or landscape.

Files, both ways

Send photos and documents to your Mac, or browse its folders and pull files back to your phone.

Power & vitals

Lock, sleep, restart, or shut down your Mac, and check battery, storage, and what's playing at a glance.

Talk to Mackie

Ask out loud and Mackie handles it on your Mac — in the voice and language you pick, or dictate straight into any text field.

Chat with Mackie

Type a request when speaking isn't ideal, and send a photo or a file along for Mackie to work from.

Choose your AI brain

Run Mackie on Maccess Cloud, Claude Code, Codex, or a model on your own Mac — and see what's left of your allowance.

Terminal & automations

Send commands straight to your Mac's Terminal, or save the steps you repeat and run the whole routine with one tap.

Projects & approvals

Keep each piece of work in its own project, approve what Mackie wants to change, and look back at everything that ran.

Make it yours

Pick the scene your Mac shows on its card, switch the app icon, and set the look you want.

Who is it for?

Maccess is built for people who already live on iPhone and Mac — presenters, couch multitaskers, developers checking a machine in another room, and anyone who wants a fast Mac remote that feels like Apple software rather than a generic VNC client.
